BIOGRAPHY
About me
A lyric-coloratura soprano with a wide span of voice
I am a trained opera singer from the Royal Opera Academy at the Royal Theatre. I am a versatile lyric-coloratura soprano with a voice that ranges from the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, to Mimì in La Bohéme and to Lulu in Alban Berg’s opera of the same name. I have performed on most Danish opera stages and been a guest soloist in numerous places outside of Denmark. In addition, I have appeared on several occasions for HM Queen Margrethe II and the Royal House.
I have received many recognitions, singing and competition awards, honorary scholarships and great reviews, as well as qualified for the “Final Rounds” in the Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition. With a desire to make opera more accessible to both children and adults, I work as an idea developer, librettist and singer on various projects.

Arias by, among others, Mozart, Handel, Gonoud and Gilbert O’Sullivan are skilfully and ‘smoothly’ adapted to the adventure. In addition, Schreiber sings soprano with an incredibly beautiful sound and fullness – and she also has a very open and lively radiance.

Opera for children
In my projects, I focus on finding new ways to open the door to the world of classical music for the untried audience, in the form of, for example, children’s operas and lectures at evening schools, high schools and colleges.
It means a lot to me in particular to introduce children to opera. I am co-founder of the children’s opera company Pin-Upera (2013-2019), which has been behind the children’s operas “Clumsy Hans” and “The Nightingale”, the latter as a co-production with the Royal Theatre. In addition, I have written the libretto for the children’s opera “The Ugly Duckling”, the Royal Theatre, which was re-staged in 2022.
I am the owner of the opera company “Operativet”, which I co-founded with Freja Friberg Lyme. The opera focuses on making opera more accessible – most recently with the performance “The Elixir of Love” at the Copenhagen Distillery, which was a shortened version of Donizetti’s opera L’elisir d’amore. The performance was nominated for “Opera of the year / Operetta Performance” in 2021 by CPH Culture.
I recently performed “Drop Dead Diva” with Kind of Opera, which combines technology and opera with a silent disco format. I am also one of the ensemble “Melodrama” together with violinist Tobias Sneh Durholm and pianist Sofia Wilkman.
Conductors & pianists
I have worked with several Danish and foreign conductors. These include Michael Schønwandt, Frans Rasmussen, Michael Bojesen, Per Enevold, Nenia Zenana, Maria Badstue and Martin Nagashima Toft. I have a long an close collaboration with the pianist Ulrich Stærk, but have also worked with, among others, Sofia Wilkman, Thomas Darelius, Christen Stubbe Teglbjærg, Orsi Fajger, Søren Pedersen, Berit Tagnge Johansen and Kristoffer Hyldig.
